Dragino WSC2-L, LoRaWAN Transmitter for Weather Stations, EU868

The Dragino WSC2-L is the central wireless unit for the Dragino weather station: it reads connected weather sensors via RS485 and pulse input and transmits the measured values via LoRaWAN to any network server. It supports all sensors in the Dragino WSS series, from the 9-in-1 WSS-09 sensor and rain gauges to radiation and air quality sensors; additionally, RS485 sensors from third-party manufacturers can be integrated. This transforms a transmitter and freely combinable sensors into a weather station precisely tailored to the specific measurement task.

Note: The WSC2-L is not designed for battery-only operation. The transmitter and sensors are powered together via a 12V solar power system, consisting of a solar panel, MPPT charge controller, and a buffer battery. These components, as well as a control cabinet, are not included and are typically sourced locally to match the sensor configuration. The internal 1000 mAh battery serves as a buffer for the transmitter.
