Button cells are very small, lightweight, and ideal for devices with low power consumption and limited space. They often last several years without needing to be replaced.
“C” stands for lithium manganese dioxide, “R” for round cell, “20” indicates a diameter of 20 mm, and “25” means a height of 2.5 mm. Note that a decimal point belongs between the last two digits (2.5 mm).
