Description
The weatherproof HRXL-MaxSonar-WR is an ultrasonic sensor component module. This outdoor sensor offers a very long range and a compact, rugged PVC housing. The ultrasonic sensor meets the IP67 water ingress standard and fits standard 3/4-inch PVC electrical conduit fittings.
The MB7344 HRXL-MaxSonar-WRS is a cost-effective, rugged ultrasonic snow depth sensor designed for reliable snow depth measurement. The MB7344 features an internal filter set to 2% of the target, making it ideal for targets that occasionally move quickly. The sensor displays temperature compensation for each reading, either with the integrated temperature sensor or the optional external temperature sensor (HR-MaxTemp).
High acoustic output power combined with continuously variable gain, automatic real-time background calibration, real-time waveform signature analysis, and noise suppression algorithms ensure noise-free range readings, even in the presence of many different acoustic or electrical noise sources. HRXL MaxSonar WR sensors are factory calibrated to match tight sensor beam patterns, providing reliable detection ranges over long distances.
The MB7334 is the RS232 version of this sensor.
