Description
The weather-resistant SCXL-MaxSonar-WRS self-cleaning sensor is a rugged ultrasonic sensor module. This outdoor sensor operates at very short to long ranges. Housed in a compact and rugged PVC housing, the ultrasonic sensor meets the IP67 water ingress standard. The housing features a standard 3/4-inch PVC conduit fitting.
The MB7574 features a self-cleaning transducer to remove condensation and ice buildup in cold conditions. The MB7374 self-cleaning sensor is the recommended snow depth sensor for users requiring TTL serial data. The MB7574 also features an internal filter. The sensor accurately measures temperature compensation for each reading, either with the integrated temperature sensor or the optional external temperature sensor ( HR-MaxTemp ).
