Description
The weatherproof 4-20HR-MaxSonar-WR is a rugged ultrasonic sensor module featuring an industry-standard 4-20mA analog current interface. This outdoor sensor offers very short to long range and a compact, rugged PVC housing. This ultrasonic sensor meets the IP67 water ingress standard and fits standard 3/4-inch PVC electrical conduit fittings.
High acoustic output power combined with continuously variable gain, automatic real-time background calibration, real-time waveform signature analysis, and noise suppression algorithms result in virtually noise-free range readings. This is true even in the presence of a wide variety of acoustic or electrical noise sources. The 4-20HR MaxSonar WR sensors are factory calibrated to adjust to tight sensor beam patterns and enable reliable detection ranges over long distances.
