The MB7137 I2CXL-TrashSonar-WR is a weather-resistant sensor for measuring the fill level of a garbage container.
The MB7137's I2CXL TrashSonar WR features an I2C communication interface. This allows for the operation of up to 127 sensors on a single bus for a network of trash cans monitored by a single controller for multi-sensor operation.
High acoustic output power combined with continuously variable gain, automatic real-time background calibration, real-time waveform signature analysis, and noise suppression algorithms result in virtually noise-free distance measurements. This applies even in the presence of a wide variety of acoustic or electrical noise sources.
The I2CXL TrashSonar WR sensors are factory calibrated to adjust to narrow sensor beam patterns and provide reliable mid-range detection ranges.
