MaxBotix High Performance Ultrasonic Range Finder - MB1260 XL-MaxSonar-EZL0

The XL-MaxSonar-EZL0 offers the widest and most sensitive beam pattern of any indoor sensor we currently offer. This makes the XL-MaxSonar-EZL0 an excellent choice when wide-beam detection, reliable person detection or reliable small obstacle detection are required. In addition to detecting small objects, the XL-MaxSonar-EZL0 also detects large targets at the extended range of 1068 cm (420 in.).
The sensor is small, but the high acoustic output power combined with continuously variable gain, real-time automatic background calibration, real-time real-time waveform signature analysis and noise reduction algorithms results in almost noise-free distance readings for most users. This also applies in the presence of many of the various acoustic or electrical noise sources.
The XL-MaxSonar EZ sensor line is factory tuned to the sensor's beam patterns and provides long-range detection.
The MB1200 is a version of this sensor with a shorter maximum range.
