MaxBotix high-performance outdoor ultrasonic range finder – MB7360 HRXL-MaxSonar-WR

The weatherproof HRXL-MaxSonar-WR is a rugged ultrasonic sensor component module. This outdoor sensor provides very short to long range detection in a compact, rugged PVC housing. The ultrasonic sensor meets the IP67 standard for water ingress and mates with standard 3/4 in. electrical PVC pipe fittings.
High acoustic output power combined with continuously variable gain, real-time automatic background calibration, real-time waveform signature analysis, and noise cancellation algorithms result in virtually noise-free distance measurements. This applies even in the presence of many of the various acoustic or electrical noise sources. The HRXL-MaxSonar-WR sensors are factory calibrated to match narrow sensor beam patterns, providing reliable long-range detection ranges.
