Description
The USB-SER01 uses the FTDI FT230X chip. The VCP (Virtual COM Port) drivers for it are available directly on the FTDI website. Be sure to read the installation guides on that page.
Once the USB-SER01 is connected and the drivers are installed, the module appears as an additional COM port on your computer.
The USB 5V supply is routed to the JST connector and can be used to power additional circuits. The converter itself is compatible with 3.3 V and 5 V TTL systems.
A cable with split ends is included in the package, allowing easy connection to peripherals.
