The TF-UW500 uses dToF (Direct Time-of-Flight) technology for precise underwater distance measurement.
The eye-safe Class 1 laser (visible light) generates a focused light spot with excellent directivity and minimizes multipath reflections. Compared to conventional ultrasonic sensors, the TF-UW500 thus offers clear advantages in precision and stability.
Hardware-side filtering combined with anti-glare algorithms ensures stable operation even with strong ambient light or murky water. Calibrated for over 10 common pool materials, the sensor guarantees reliable readings without deviations.
