Description
The Dragino LHT65S-E5-EU868 is the external antenna variant of the LHT65N. It is a LoRaWAN-based sensor for simultaneous acquisition of indoor climate and a second, application-specific measured variable. The external antenna allows for flexible alignment and placement outside the sensor housing, which can be particularly advantageous when installing in metallic environments or difficult radio conditions.
This variant combines an integrated temperature and humidity sensor with an external illuminance sensor and transmits both readings energy-efficiently via LoRaWAN to the IoT platform.
This variant is suitable for applications where indoor climate and illuminance are to be monitored in parallel. Typical applications include daylight-dependent lighting control in offices and classrooms, monitoring of plant growth light in greenhouses and indoor farming, or workplace-related light measurement according to DIN EN 12464-1.
The integrated datalog function ensures that no measurement data is lost even during temporary connection failures. Buffered values are automatically retransmitted once the connection is re-established.
