Description
The Lighthouse Deck enables high-precision positioning of the Crazyflie 2.X using HTC Vive Base Stations. It features four infrared receivers and an integrated FPGA that performs position calculation directly on board, making it ideal for fully autonomous systems without external communication.
The hardware supports both Lighthouse V1 and V2, but currently only V1. Support for V2 is under development and will be available via a firmware update.
Features:
- High-precision positioning
- Compatible with HTC Vive Base Station V1 (V2 via firmware update)
- ICE40UP5K FPGA for signal processing
- Open source toolchain for FPGA
- UART and I2C interface to the Crazyflie expansion port
- Solder pads for UART to connect external systems (e.g. Arduino)
- FPGA programmable via UART/I2C bootloader
Technical data:
- ICE40UP5K FPGA
- 4× TS4231 infrared receiver
- 1-Wire memory for automatic deck detection
- Weight: 2.7 g
- Size: 27 × 35 × 3.5 mm
- For mounting on top of the Crazyflie 2.X
