Description
The BLG-AN-020 is a compact LoRaWAN omnidirectional antenna in a fiberglass housing for outdoor use. It is designed for the 868 MHz and 915 MHz bands and is mounted directly to the device via an RP-SMA connector. With a length of 200 mm and a diameter of 20 mm, it is significantly shorter than classic mast antennas and is suitable for installations requiring a robust, weatherproof design without separate antenna mounting.
The antenna operates omnidirectionally with vertical polarization and an impedance of 50 Ω. In the EU868 band, it achieves 0.98 dBi according to the manufacturer's measurement, with an efficiency of 64.5% (915 MHz: 1.19 dBi, 58.3%). The standing wave ratio is a maximum of 2.0. The operating temperature range extends from −45 °C to +85 °C. The manufacturer has subjected the antenna to moisture and heat tests, temperature cycling, salt spray, vibration, and drop tests, among others.
Ideal for Dragino gateways and LoRaWAN end devices with an RP-SMA antenna socket that are operated outdoors or in harsh environments.
