Description
The XL-MaxSonar-EZ3 has a high noise tolerance and a narrow beam with a higher sensitivity than the MB1240. The XL-MaxSonar-EZ3 also offers increased sensitivity and a longer range for small and medium-sized targets.
The sensor is small, but the high acoustic output power combined with continuously variable gain, real-time automatic background calibration, real-time real-time waveform signature analysis and noise cancellation algorithms results in almost noise-free distance readings.
This applies even in the presence of many different acoustic or electrical noise sources. The XL-MaxSonar-EZ sensor line is factory tuned to the sensor's beam patterns and provides long range detection range.
