MaxBotix High Performance Ultrasonic Range Finder - MB1232 I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ3

The I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ sensors now feature an I2C bus. This allows for easy I2C integration and operation with multiple sensors over a single bus.
The I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ3 has high noise tolerance and a narrow beam with higher sensitivity than the MB1242. The I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ3 also offers increased sensitivity and longer detection distance for small and medium-sized targets.
The sensor is small, but the high acoustic output power combined with continuously variable gain, automatic real-time background calibration, real-time waveform signature analysis, and real-time noise cancellation algorithms result in almost noise-free distance measurements. This also applies in the presence of many different acoustic or electrical noise sources. The I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ sensor line is factory tuned to the sensor's beam patterns and provides long-range sensing range.
