The I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ sensors now feature an I2C bus. This allows for easy I2C integration and operation of multiple sensors from a single bus.
The I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ2 offers the best ratio between wide and narrow beams and a good balance between small and large target detection. The I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ2 is suitable for almost all indoor applications, including: person detection, large target detection, long range detection, applications requiring high noise figure.
The sensor is small, but the high acoustic output power combined with continuously variable gain, real-time automatic background calibration, real-time real-time waveform signature analysis and noise reduction algorithms results in almost noise-free distance measurements for most users.
This holds true even in the presence of many of the various acoustic or electrical noise sources. The I2CXL-MaxSonar-EZ sensor line is factory tuned to the sensor's beam patterns and provides long-range sensing range.
