Description
The Dragino LDDS45 is a LoRaWAN distance measurement sensor for the Internet of Things. It is used to measure the distance between the sensor and a flat object. The distance measurement sensor is a module that uses ultrasonic sensor technology to measure distance, and temperature compensation is performed internally to improve the reliability of the data.
The LDDS45 can be used in scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, level measurement, parking management system, object proximity and presence detection, smart dustbin management system, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewerage, groundwater monitoring, etc.
It detects the distance between the measured object and the sensor and wirelessly uploads the value to the LoRaWAN IoT server.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the LDDS45 enables the device to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. It offers an extremely long range with spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity while minimising power consumption.
The LDDS45 is powered by an 8500 mAh Li-SOCI2 battery and is designed for long-term use of up to 10 years*.
Each LDDS45 comes pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. Register these keys on the local LoRaWAN server and the device will automatically connect after power-up when in network coverage.
