The dSX42K has a type K thermocouple input for temperature measurement, along with two Volt Free Contact (VFC) inputs.
The thermocouple input uses the MCP96L01 which includes cold junction compensation.

- Serial ports: 1 x RS485 port.
- Relays: 2 with up to 16Amp @24vdc or 250vac, screw Terminals for N/O N/C and Common contacts
- Inputs: 2 Volt Free Contact (VFC), connect directly to switches or relay contacts. 1 K-type Thermo-couple input. Cold junction compensated. Hot (probe) and Cold (PCB) temperatures are available.
- Power: 12v from connected dScript module (requires twin pair cable) or directly on screw terminals if required
