Each tipping event is reported as a pulse to the transmitter, which calculates the rainfall amount and intensity from it. The sensor is supplied with a 2 m connection cable and is connected to the pulse input of the WSC2-Compact.

Key features:

Rainfall measurement based on the tipping bucket principle with a 200 mm collection area

Pulse output, evaluation at the WSC2-Compact in interrupt or counter mode

Rainfall intensity from 0.01 to 4 mm/min

2 m connection cable, two-wire connection

Specifications:

Measuring principle: Tipping bucket

Collection area: Ø 200 mm, edge angle 40° to 45°

Resolution: 0.1 mm

Measuring range: 0 to 100 mm per day (standard)

Rainfall intensity: 0.01 to 4 mm/min

Output: Pulse

Cable: 2 m, two-wire

Scope of delivery: 1 × DR-RG-6P

Note: The DR-RG-6P is not heated; therefore, snow and ice are not recorded correctly.
